B-66 Senior Officers

Here's a list of over 30 E/R/W/B-66 US Air Force officers assigned to the 9th, 11th and 12th TRS, 41st and 42nd TEWS and 6460th TEWS during the life of the B-66 Destroyer that attained the rank of General.

• Brigadier General DeWitt S. Spain [Pilot]
He was the Commander, 10th TRW, RAF Alconbury before Colonel James Kemp. General Spain may have died of cancer. He has an airport named after him in Memphis, TN.

• Brigadier General Victor N. Cabas [Pilot]
Col Vic Cabas was Vice Commander, 10th TRW, RAF Alconbury under Colonel James Kemp. He also served as Wing Commander in Vietnam. For his World War II Victory Credits as a pilot in the 4th Fighter Wing, click here.

• Major General William Palmer [EWO]
Bill Palmer flew on Ned Colburn's crew at Takhli, made Major below the zone and went on to become a Major General. Bill Palmer was an Annapolis graduate.
