John's crew (left side - front left to right) was Chuck Schnorenberg , navigator; Earl Johns, pilot; SSgt Joe Melton, gunner; and three unknown aircraft mechanics. The six people standing (left rear) are EWOs:
Ed Malone, Jerry Welkom, Buck Wade and Jack Knoeppel. Next to Jack are Ed Breck* and an unknown sergeant that worked in the ELINT Analysis shop.

Stamm's crew on the right (standing - left to right) are EWOs: Dave Smiley, Roy Fair, Tom Sterling** and Paul Duplessis ****. Right front is navigator Mike Barbolla***, pilot Bob Stamm and gunner SSgt Charles Floyd.

Stamm's Form 5 shows flying 6+35 hours on 14 April '60 and 3+30 on the 15th. First leg was to Lajes AB, Azores on 14th and second leg to the Chelveston AB, UK on the 15th.

* Ed Breck was killed in a motorcycle accident outside of Takhli RTAFB, Thailand

** Tom Sterling was shot down in over North Vietnam while on a Wild Weasel mission, became a POW and later released.

*** Mike Barbola was lost at sea when his EC-131 went down. He was getting his monthly four hours while going to school in Massachusetts after leaving Shaw.
